Pomaio • Wines & Hospitality is a young and organic-sustainable GREEN winery (first vinification 2009) that offers organic wines with an extreme terroir content and a strong experiential component. Located on the hill of Pomaio, it offers an excellent southern exposure and a unique landscape. A property of 23 hectares, great care of the buildings and the vineyards surrounding them, a constant selection of grapes enables the achievement of the objectives related to the quality level that Pomaio • Wines & Hospitality has always pledged to continue in its various fields of business (hospitality, ergoanic EVO-oil, organic wine). The project Think Green is the expression of this commitment to produce respecting man, the wine and the hill re-ducing, re-cycling, re-using and above all Re-thinking reality in a smart way. The company won the prize Terre Fiorenti 2014 as the most innovative farm company of Tuscany and the prize as Best Green Winery during the fair only Wine Festival 2017. The Eco-WineCellar was selected among Tuscany’s 14 most beautiful wine-cellars.

Reservations and confirmation

Reservations can be made by telephone or by email writing to info@pomaio.it. As soon as we have checked that the villa you would like is available for the dates you request, we will send you an email with all the necessary information to confirm your booking.
The reservation will be considered confirmed on receipt of 30% advance payment of total sum, or the whole sum if your stay is only one night, unless we agree otherwise. The balance is due 30 days before arrival.
Payment can be made via credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Diners, American Express) or bank transfer. Once your reservation has been confirmed cancellation fees will be applied should you change your mind (see specific information below).

Bookings for more than one apartment

Advance payment will be required for each villa even when guests come in a group. Should one of the booked villas be cancelled, the deposit cannot be subtracted from payment for the other apartments.

Check-in

Check-in between 3.00 and 7.00 pm. If you think you will arrive outside of this period, please advise us beforehand.
You will be asked to supply a valid document of identification.
Arrivals after check-in times does not qualify for reimbursement.
If you arrive later than 24 hours from the reserved date of arrival, and you have not advised us of the delay, the management is free to decide whether or not to cancel the reservation for the entire stay.

Check-out

Should be made before 10.00am on the day of departure.
Waste and garbage must be disposed using the 3 trashcans in the villa (1 Glass/Plastic/Cans, 2 Paper, 3 Remaining). We will be picking up paper trash on cleaning days. The rest of the trash should be disposed in the boxes in the parking lot.
Should you want to prolong your stay, please advise us in advance so we can organize our registers.
Advance departure does not qualify for reimbursement.

Payment

Settlement of your bill, in case you have extra services or activities to pay, will be made on the day of departure.
You may pay via:
– Cash (max EUR 3000.00)
– Credit card (Mastercard or Visa)
– Cash point
If you need an invoices, please say so the day before you leave.

Tourist tax

The municipality of Arezzo requires a tourist tax. This tax is applied to guests who are not resident in Arezzo for a maximum of 4 consecutive nights. If you are going to stay longer, the following nights will be tax-free. The tax is €1.50 per person per night. Kids under 12 y.o. are exempt.
Please submit payment for the entire group at check-out.

How to cancel a reservation

We must be advised of cancellation by email; any other method will not be accepted.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation fee over the total amount will be applied:
– from reservation to 121 days prior to arrival 30%
– from 120 days to 31 days prior to arrival 50%
– from 30 days to 11 days prior to arrival 70%
– from 10 days to 0 hours prior to arrival 100%E) Should no one turn up on the day of supposed arrival, you will be charged for the entrie period you reserved

Personal data and all other information our company acquires of our guests are strictly subject to privacy and secrecy management, be they acquired on paper or via the internet.
In respect of the Privacy Bill Reg UE n. 679/2016, we inform our guests that all information we acquire will be used purely and solely for administrative purposes pertaining to their stay.
