“From fresco paintings to ‘al fresco'”. A day dedicated to organic and sustainable wines, rediscovering at the same time ancient painting methods. At the end of the day, presentation and aperitiv of the Fresco Academy.
During the afternoon of Wednesday 5th of July, included in the calendar of events “I Giorni del Vino” organized by Strada del Vino Terre di Arezzo, it will be possible to visit the eco-winery of Podere di Pomaio, taste 2 our of wines and partecipate to the live show of the artist and restorer Laura Ghezzi, that will make a demonstration of the fascinating “fresco” painting method. In the meanwhile, the art historian Susanna Buricchi will introduce you to the history of this painting techinique and to the great painters that used it, like Piero della Francesca.
From 3.00 to 7.00 pm, 2 glasses of wine + a taste of cheese and cold cuts,
with the tour of the eco-winery and the “fresco” live show – EUR 5.00 per person.
At 7.00 pm presentation of the Fresco Academy by Laura Ghezzi and Susanna Buricchi, with aperitif.
