For once, we are here to talk about an event dedicated to the extra virgin olive oil, and not about wine. It is called Oliogustando, a cycle of tasting events where the star is always the top quality EVOO from local producers. The events are organized by Strada del Vino Terre di Arezzo and AICOO.
Tonight at 8.30 pm, in the astonishing atmosphere of a medieval castle, Castello di Valenzano, the tasting dinner dedicated to our extra virgin organic olive oil will take place with a menu that matches the excellent characteristics of our oil with local and traditional recipes and seasonal ingredients.
Our organic olive oil production is very small, (around 2000 half of a litre bottles), but of very high quality: very low acidity, great body and structure together with an intense fruity aroma, and the typical Tuscan spicy and bitter after taste.

Carpaccio of marinated bonito in EVOO
Pappa al Pomodoro (typical bread and tomato soup)
Cetara anchovies and Puntarelle
Gnocchi made of potatoes and olives, with roman cabbage and mackerel
Stew lentils, monkfish, Lardo di Cinta and rosmary
Goat cheese Cheesecake, blueberries and EVOO emulsion
