Everything’s ready for the second edition of Architetto in Cantina, an event organized by Toscana Wine Architecture, the circuit of design wineries in Tuscany, this year together with Chef Luca Fracassi and Slow Food Arezzo.
Day schedule:
– Free entrance to visit the cellar from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm
– Guided tours of the cellar at 11.00 am, 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm, with the architect that made the project
– At the end of each guided tour, there will be a tasting of 3 wines from Podere di Pomaio together with 3 tapas from chef Luca Fracassi using local products suggested by Slow Food as the main ingredient
A journey into our philosophy about respecting the environment, together with the person who designed the cellar, followed step by step by the wines that the winery is producing and the tapas that Cef Luca Fracassi thought t be matched with. The main ingredient of each tapa is going to be a local protected product of Arezzo’s territories, agreed together with Slow Food.
Reduce, ReUse, Recycle, but mostly ReThink. These are the 4 Rs of sustainability in Pomaio, according to oour ThinkGreen project, started in 1991. The eco wine-cellar designed by Pier Ferruccio Rossi and the architect Marisa Lo Cigno is the main synthesis of it. They will both guide our guests discovering the eco-cellar in bio-architecture, while Chef Luca Fracassi will be preparing the tapas to be matched with our wines.
The cost is Eur 20.00 per person.
